The WEW Tag Team Championship is the top tag team championship in A-TEAM. It succeeded the FMW Brass Knuckles Tag Team Championship that had previously been promoted from the Frontier Martial-Arts Wrestling (FMW) promotion. The was part of the Apache Pro Wrestling Army for very years.

Overview[]

In 1999 in FMW Koji Nakagawa and Gedo defeated Masato Tanaka and Tetsuhiro Kuroda to win the FMW Brass Knuckles Tag Team Championship. Along with that FMW Commissioner Kodo Fuyuki sealed all the FMW titles and the belt was reshaped as the WEW Tag Champion.
