Novus (ノーバス Nōbasu?), was a professional wrestling stable in Wrestle-1, formed by Jiro Kuroshio, Rionne Fujiwara, Yusuke Kodama and Koji Doi in July 21, 2014. Novus was effectively dissolved on December 22, when Doi turned on the stable to jump to the Desperado stable, while Masakatsu Funaki took Kuroshio under his wing.

Wrestle-1Edit

On July 21, 2014 Jiro Kuroshio, Koji Doi and Rionne Fujiwara and Yusuke Kodama formed a stable named Novus.[1] In August 2014 Kuroshio defeated Andy Wu in a qualification bout, earning the right to enter the inaugural Wrestle-1 Championship tournament, he would go on to lose to Masayuki Kono in the first round. Also Kodama particpated at the Wrestle-1 Championship tournament where he made it to the second round, before losing to Masayuki Kono.[2] On November 15 to November 30 Doi and Kodama and Kuroshio with Masakatsu Funaki participated at the First Tag League Greatest. with a record of one draw and three losses.[3] Kuroshio and Funaki partcipated at block A and they finished the tournament with 4 points with two wins and two losses, falling to advance to the semifinals. Doi and Kodama particpated at block B where they finished their block with 1 points drawing one match with Hiroshi Yamato and Seiya Sanada and losing the rest of the mathes. On December 15 Desperado (Kazma Sakamoto and Ryoji Sai) defeated Kuroshio and Doi. After the match Doi turned on Kuroshio and joined to Desperado. Novus was effectively dissolved on December 22, after Doi turned on the stable to jump to the Desperado stable, while Masakatsu Funaki took Kuroshio under his wing.
